Enjoy Movie Time

a movie 3

Who doesn’t enjoy going to the movies, especially when they are free?

For a brief time only, Hay House Films is offering a free movie entitled The Shift, in memory of Wayne Dyer which includes actress Portia de Rossi.

This film explores the spiritual journey from ambition to meaning through the intertwined stories of a businessman, mother of two, and a movie director.

Through these stories, this inspiring film helps teach us how to create a life of meaning and purpose.

So, sit back, relax and enjoy!

  1. Dear Cathie,

Thank you for the great movie tip!
I only now learned that Wayne has passed, yesterday. How sad…
Since quite a while I have been curious about the film and will take the opportunity to watch it together with my husband, this evening, to celebrate Mr. Dyer’s life.

    Much love,

    • I hope you enjoy the movie Steffi. I have seen it several times, and always walk away feeling better. It was surprising to hear of his passing but great to see how he lived, writing and creating up to the end! Blessings, Cathie

      • Cathie –
We watched the movie, yesterday, and enjoyed it very much! I think, I would like to watch it, again, before the end of the month. Lots of grand wisdom and helpful reminders!
Yes, his life is surely worth a celebration and it is hard to feel sad when connecting with all the joy and creativity that sparkled through him until the end. What and example of life!
        Much love,

      • That’s great Steffi! Glad you enjoyed it too! Not sure how long Hay House films is offering it for free but hopefully you’ll get to see it a second time during the allotted time. They are offering another film of his for free entitled “My Greatest Teacher” which I’ve attached the link below. Agreed, he was a great example of living life to the fullest, and sharing wisdom along the way! Blessings, Cathie

  2. Thank you, Cathie! – The link is saved and I feel pretty sure that we will watch it when my husband is back from shopping. 🙂
On Wayne’s website I believe to have seen that they show “The Shift” for free until Sept. 30th, by the way.
    Much love,

    • Cathie – I wanted to leave a quick feedback and THANK YOU once more for the movie-link! Kim and I watched “My Greatest Teacher” last night and both enjoyed the film a lot. As somebody who in some regards has a challenging father-daughter-relationship herself, I experienced a lot of resonance – but also far beyond family stories.

      • That is great to hear Steffi! It resonated with me as well. It is wonderful to see the power of forgiveness in action, and see how it doesn’t involve the person who harmed us but something that happens within our own heart. Often, as in the movie, the people to forgive are no longer living but we can still release the pain of holding onto grievances, and let it go. Not easy but worth it. Thanks for following up. Blessings, Cathie
